The arrival of Gardenhouse marks Ma Yansong’s highly-anticipated architectural debut in America. Gardenhouse redefines how architecture and nature can work in concert to create a striking yet delicate balance where interior and exterior spaces seamlessly connect. Gardenhouse boasts the largest living wall in the country and is composed of native plants and succulents that transform with the seasons.
Ma Yansong channels his core design principle of “Shanshui City,” a vision for the city of the future based on the spiritual and emotional needs of its residents, into his latest structural feat. Artfully constructed as a modern-day village, Gardenhouse sets out to blend technologically advanced design and contemporary spaces into sustainable, living environments.
ROTTET STUDIO
Celebrated as one of the finest interior design practices in the United States, Rottet Studio complements Ma Yansong’s architecture with simplistic elegance. Founded by Lauren Rottet with Principal Richard Riveire leading west coast projects, Gardenhouse is crafted with bright, gallery-like interiors and sophisticated, contemporary finishes.
THE RESIDENCES
Gardenhouse offers a collection of expansive, open-concept residences with towering window walls, private indoor living spaces and direct lift access from the building’s private subterranean garage. Sky Villas, Garden Flats and Row Houses incorporate Miele appliances, Italian cabinetry, stone countertops, master baths appointed with Japanese-style onsen wet rooms with free-standing soaking tubs.
