As we step inside one of the residences at Stanly Ranch, what distinctive features immediately capture your attention? What was the inspiration for these design choices?
When designing the Villas, JZMK Partners and CCID wanted to capitalize on the breathtaking views of the resort’s Lavender Pool, rolling vineyards and Mayacamas Mountains while simultaneously creating a sense of tranquility through fresh, modern Napa design imbued with the energy, convenience, and community of the resort.
The interiors pay homage to Napa’s historic provenance as a tanner center, through the use of white oak planking on ceilings and floors, accent metal details and leather upholstery. Light-colored oak wood, warm gray and stone fireplaces, gunmetal accents with linen accented walls create a calm, neutral background to relax into wine country in a sophisticated contemporary palette. Luxury features include custom-designed kitchens, outdoor showers with soaking tubs, first-level entry courtyards, dramatic ceiling heights on the second floor and outdoor dining and BBQ areas.

Tell us about the architectural and design choices that create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living areas. How do these spaces enhance the overall luxury experience?
Set amidst a landscape of blooming olive trees and Italian Cypress, the fully furnished two-bedroom and two-and-a-half-bath Villas create fluid connectivity between interiors and exteriors and offer a fresh, modern Napa design. Open interior living, dining and cooking plans connect seamlessly to the exterior courtyards, patios and upper decks through continuation of porcelain stone flooring or wood planking on the ground level to the upper floor decks completing the California style of seamless indoor, outdoor living.
